I know, it’s early, but I hear many athletes already talking about the grand and big plans for next year. And with athletes I mean everyone that works towards a goal with fun.
Planning a season can be quite the puzzle; what’s your work rhythm, when will you go out with the kids, do I want to go on holiday? Can I do those races or events that close to eachother?
By planning early (and January is totally fine ;-)) you can align your choices for races or events. What will I do and what will I skip?
Then you can use the first months of the year to build general fitness. This will allow the early season to be focused on specific stimuli to prepare for the races.
Additionally, you will have a season to work towards; half the fun is working towards the goal.
